28:7 The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven! When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.” This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain.
12: 22-23 No, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless thousands of angels in a joyful gathering. You have come to the assembly of God’s firstborn children, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God himself, who is the judge over all things. You have come to the spirits of the righteous ones in heaven who have now been made perfect.
So Abraham placed the wood for the burnt offering on Isaac’s shoulders, while he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them walked on together, Isaac turned to Abraham and said, “Father?” “Yes, my son?” Abraham replied. “We have the fire and the wood,” the boy said, “but where is the sheep for the burnt offering?” “God will provide a sheep for the burnt offering, my son, ” Abraham answered. And they both walked on together.
(Hebrews 11: 6 It is impossible to please God without faith)
and no one else can fully share its joy
客居外鄉的日子雖是苦多於樂, 不方便;
但日子久了若把地上寄居地當成家;
Lamentations(耶利米哀歌) 3:14-15 My own people laugh at me. All day long they sing their mocking songs. He has filled me with bitterness 他使我飽嘗苦菜 and given me a bitter cup of sorrow to drink.
Revelation 8:10-12 Then the third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from the sky, burning like a torch. It fell on one-third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star was Bitterness. It made one-third of the water bitter, and many people died from drinking the bitter water.
撒 迦 利 亞 ( Zechariah) 11:17 “What sorrow awaits this worthless shepherd who abandons the flock! The sword will cut his arm and pierce his right eye. His arm will become useless, and his right eye completely blind.”
Isaiah 11 : 11 In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to Bring back the remant of his people those who remain in Assyria and northern Egypt; in southern Egypt, Ethiopia, and Elam; in Babylonia, Hamath, and all the distant coastlands. He will raise a flag among the nations and assemble the exiles of Israel. He will gather the scattered people of Judah from the ends of the earth.
Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength
Psalm 6:2-3 Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
My soul also is greatly troubled; But You, O LORD—how long?
Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad. The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray.
2 Samuel 22:2-4
“The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
The God of my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation,
M y stronghold and my refuge;
My Savior, You save me from violence.
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised;
So shall I be saved from my enemies.
2 Samuel 22:30-32(NJKV& CNVT)
For by You I can run against a troop;
B y my God I can leap over a wall.
As for God, His way is perfect;
The word of the LORD is proven;
He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
Ephesians 1:17-19 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
“At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book.
If she is virgin, like a wall, we will protect
her with A silver tower. But if she is promiscuous,
like a swinging door,we Will block her door with a cedar bar.
”Our Father in heaven……………”
1 Peter 1:17New Living Translation (NLT) And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray
has no favorites. He will judge or reward you according to what
you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time
as “foreigners in the land.”
